By accessing or using the Browser Fingerprint Analyzer at fpdetector.com ("the Site"), you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

2. The service

The Site provides a free, browser-based educational tool that runs fingerprint-related tests locally in your browser and displays the results to you, together with explanatory articles. The Site is provided free of charge, without accounts or registration.

3. Informational purpose

All test results, ratings, and articles on the Site are informational observations and educational content. They are not security assessments, guarantees of privacy or anonymity, professional advice, or a substitute for professional consultation. Distinguishing-power ratings are qualitative judgments about signal behavior, not measurements against a population. See the disclaimer for details.

4. Acceptable use

You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes. You must not attempt to disrupt the Site's operation, misrepresent the Site's content as your own, use the Site's content to mislead others about fingerprinting or about the Site, or frame the Site in a manner that misrepresents its origin.

5. Intellectual property

The Site's content — text, design, code served by the Site, and the Browser Fingerprint Analyzer name and logo — is the property of the Site operator. You may view and use the Site for personal, educational purposes. Reproduction of substantial portions of the Site's content requires prior permission via yo@fpdetector.com.

6. No warranty

The Site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or uninterrupted availability. Browser behavior varies; a test result on your system reflects your system at that moment and nothing more.

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Site operator shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of, or inability to use, the Site or reliance on its content.

8. Third-party links

Articles may reference third-party browsers, tools, or resources for educational context. The Site does not control and is not responsible for third-party software, sites, or policies, and references are not endorsements.
